Shopping §

Whitehorse has a wide variety of shopping from specialized stores to "big box" stores and consignment outlets. Stores open around 8 or 9 am and close at 5 or 6 pm and are generally closed on Sundays. The larger stores will close at 9 or 10 pm and are often open on Sundays. Most stores close on holidays.

Transportation §

Whitehorse Transit operates a bus service within the city limits. A single fare is $2.50 and a monthly adult pass is $62.00. The service is in operation every day except Sunday and holidays. Schedules are available at City Hall, the Yukon Government Administration Building and some retail outlets. For further information you can call +1 867 668 RIDE (7433).
