The Multicultural Centre of the Yukon is offering newcomers a chance to enhance their career skills with the introduction of the Career Pathing for Healthcare Professionals Program, a FREE work-oriented language and communication skills course.

If you are internationally trained and experiencing communication barriers to finding appropriate work in Canada, then Career Pathing for Healthcare Professionals can help you increase your employability by improving your workplace communication skills within your profession.

Our Program

Workplace Communication Skills specific to your field of study;
Understand workplace culture in Canada;
Clearly and effectively interact with a variety of people in the workplace;
Develop strong interviewing, networking and career-building communication skills

Program Eligibility

To be eligible, you need to meet the following requirements:

Internationally Trained Healthcare Professionals
Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Score: CLB Level 5+ (Current assessment)
Education, training and / or work experience in healthcare
